One June 9, 2010, Senator Harris Blake attended The Hunan Delegation Welcome Banquet that was co-hosted by the Carolina China Council and Research Triangle Regional Partnership. Senator Blake has worked extensively with both of these organizations and took part in another Chinese delegation when he visited the Hunan province in China in 2009.

The Carolina China Council (CCC) is a nonprofit organization registered in the State of North Carolina to promote business, cultural and educational exchanges between the Carolinas and China. Since its establishment in March 2009, CCC has been actively engaged in building the bridge between the people in the Carolinas and China.
